DIFFERENT MEANING WORD OF "SO"...

To such an extent : last time, I saw him so fat!

In this or that way : He wants everything to be left just so.

Already indicated : If you needed money you should have said so.

Conjunction therefore : John had a bad cold, so I took him to the doctor.

With the result : He got up very late, so that he has late for work.

In order that : I will wash this dress so that you can wear it tomorrow.

Used to show that a list or sequence continues in a similar way : He told me to work harder, and so forth.

Indicating purpose : She whispered to me so no one else would wear.

Used to introduce the next part of the story : So after shouting and screaming for an hour, she walked out in the tears.

Used to introduce a statement on which one wishes to comment in a critical or contrasting way : So have come back. What is your story this time?

Used to avoid repetition : They think she may try to phone. If so, someone must stay here.
